Tilehurst Guild

The Tilehurst Guild is an organisation within the Methodist Church for people of all ages.

Meetings have been traditionally held in the Church on alternate Tuesdays, normally at 7.00pm, and ran from September through to April/May.

The programmes have been based on various themes, including Social, Musical, and Guest Speakers.

Emphasis last year was on in house activities with no charge or membership fee.

Our aim was to provide fun, friendship, fellowship and be informative with a devotional structure.

Evenings typically started with a short prayer and hymn and ended with free refreshments.

All were welcome to come and join us either regularly or just occasionally.

However, sadly, due to dwindling numbers and other commitments of the small organising committee, the Programme for Autumn 2026 is currently on hold.
